Precautions for Daily Maintenance of Bubble Film Machines

The stable operation of the bubble film machine depends on proper maintenance. This article will elaborate on the key points of its daily maintenance and repair, helping operators ensure the good condition of the equipment and improve production efficiency.

I. Maintenance of Mechanical Components
(I) Extruder Section
Screw and Barrel
●Regularly inspect the wear condition of the screw and barrel. After long-term use, the surfaces of the screw and barrel may wear, affecting the plasticizing effect and extrusion quality of materials. Generally, it is recommended to inspect the screw and barrel every 500 - 1000 operating hours.
●After each use, promptly clean the residual materials in the screw and barrel. Residual materials may carbonize at high temperatures, affecting the fluidity of materials and product quality during the next use. Use specialized cleaning tools and appropriate cleaning agents for cleaning.
Reducer
●Pay attention to the working temperature of the reducer. If the temperature is too high, it may be caused by excessive load, poor lubrication, etc. The normal working temperature is generally between 60 - 80°C. If it exceeds this range, stop the machine and inspect immediately.


(II) Forming and Traction Section
Forming Mold
●The forming mold is a key component that determines the shape and size of bubbles. After each production run, clean the material residues on the mold surface to prevent the solidified residues from affecting the next forming effect. Use soft tools and appropriate solvents for cleaning.
●Regularly check the wear condition of the mold. If there are scratches or wear on the mold surface, it will lead to uneven bubble formation. Check the mold wear condition approximately every 1000 - 2000 operating hours depending on the production frequency.
Traction Roll and Transmission Components
●Keep the surface of the traction roll clean to prevent dust, material particles, etc. from adhering and affecting the traction effect of the film. Wipe the surface of the traction roll regularly with a clean cloth.
●Check the tension of the traction roll and transmission components (such as belts, chains, etc.). A loose tension will cause unstable traction speed or slipping, while excessive tension will increase component wear. Generally, check and adjust the tension every 2 - 3 weeks.


(III) Winding Section
Winding Roll
●Ensure that the surface of the winding roll is smooth during use. If there are burrs or damage on the surface, scratches or wrinkles will occur on the film during winding. Regularly inspect the surface of the winding roll and repair or replace it if there are problems.
●Pay attention to the balance of the winding roll. An unbalanced winding roll will lead to uneven film winding and affect product quality. Use professional balance equipment for inspection and adjustment. It is recommended to perform this check every six months.
Tension Control System
●The tension control system is crucial for ensuring the winding quality of the film. Regularly check the working status of the tension sensor and controller to ensure accurate detection and control of tension. Generally, perform function checks and calibrations every 3 - 4 months.


II. Maintenance of Electrical System
Control Cabinet and Electrical Components
●Keep the interior of the control cabinet clean and dry. Dust and moisture may cause short circuits or damage to electrical components. Use compressed air to blow the interior of the control cabinet regularly to remove dust.
●Check the connections of electrical components (such as contactors, relays, inverters, etc.) for firmness. Loose connections may cause electrical faults such as poor contact and overheating. Check the connections approximately every 3 - 6 months.
Wires and Cables
●Inspect the outer sheaths of wires and cables for damage and aging. Damaged wires may cause leakage, and aging cables may affect the transmission of electrical signals. Replace wires or cables promptly if problems are detected.
●Regularly organize wires and cables to avoid mechanical damage or being squeezed by other components. Use cable trays or wire ducts to organize and protect wires and cables.


III. Maintenance of Lubrication System
Selection and Replacement of Lubricants
Select appropriate lubricants according to the requirements of the equipment. Different components may require different types of lubricants. For example, high-temperature bearings require high-temperature-resistant grease.


IV. Cleaning and Environmental Maintenance
Surface Cleaning of Equipment
Regularly clean the surface of the bubble film machine to remove impurities such as dust and oil. Use a clean, damp cloth and appropriate cleaning agents for cleaning, but be careful to prevent cleaning agents from entering the interior of the equipment.
Maintenance of Working Environment
Keep the working environment clean and maintain an appropriate temperature and humidity. A good working environment helps extend the service life of the equipment and ensure product quality. The temperature is generally controlled between 18 - 25°C, and the humidity is preferably 40% - 60%.
